Everything a long read needs

  • Every format you have

    EPUB, PDF, TXT and Markdown, imported from Files, AirDrop or any app’s share sheet. TXT files in GBK, Big5 and other encodings open correctly.

  • Typography you control

    Font, size, line, paragraph and letter spacing, first-line indent, left, justified or right alignment, and all four margins, each step by step. Song, Kai and other Chinese typefaces download on first use.

  • Chapters that make sense

    TXT books get a real table of contents, with volumes and their chapters. When a book uses its own headings, pick another chapter rule or write your own.

  • Highlights and notes

    Highlight a passage, add a note, set bookmarks, and search the whole book. Everything is kept with the book and stays where you left it.

  • Paged or scrolling

    Turn pages with a tap or a swipe, or scroll continuously. Themes for day and night, and each new chapter starts on a fresh page.

  • Reading insights

    See today’s reading time and your streak. Weekly trends and time per book come with Pro.

Questions

Can I delete the original file after importing?

Yes. MiniRead copies the book into its own storage on your device. Keeping a backup of the original is still a good idea in case the app is deleted.

Are my books uploaded anywhere?

No. Books, reading progress, bookmarks, highlights and notes stay on your device. MiniRead has no server that receives them.

How do I move my library to a new iPhone?

In Settings, choose Backup & Restore and export a backup file, then import that file in MiniRead on the new device.

How do I restore MiniRead Pro?

Open MiniRead Pro in Settings and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with.

An EPUB won’t open. What can I do?

Check that the file ends in .epub, download it again in the Files app and import it once more. If other readers can’t open it either, the file is probably damaged.
