MiniRead Terms of Use
Effective date: October 17, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the MiniRead app and MiniRead Pro. MiniRead is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add what is specific to MiniRead; where they differ, the Standard EULA prevails.
The app
MiniRead is a reader for files you provide: EPUB, PDF, TXT and Markdown. The free version is a complete reader with no limit on the number of books. We may improve, change or discontinue features over time.
MiniRead Pro
MiniRead Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks read aloud, exporting highlights and notes as Markdown, and full reading insights. It is sold and billed by Apple through the App Store; prices are shown in the app before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. You can restore Pro on devices signed in with the same Apple Account via Settings › MiniRead Pro › Restore Purchases.
Your content
You are responsible for the books and files you import and for having the right to read them. MiniRead does not provide, sell or distribute books, and does not review the files you open. Your books, notes and reading data stay on your device; keep your own backups, because deleting the app may delete them.
Book sources
MiniRead can use book sources in the Legado format that you add yourself. MiniRead ships with no sources. Sources are created and operated by third parties; we do not run, review, endorse or control them or the content they provide, and we are not responsible for that content, its availability or its legality. Use only sources and content you have the right to use, and follow the laws that apply to you and the terms of the sites you access. Do not use MiniRead to infringe anyone’s copyright or other rights.
Acceptable use
Do not use MiniRead in a way that breaks the law, harms others, or interferes with the services and sites it connects to on your behalf.
Disclaimer and liability
MiniRead is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data, books or notes, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the laws of your country that cannot be limited by contract.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use MiniRead after a change means you accept the updated terms.
